Senior .NET Back-End Developer

Nis, Serbia, Full time (40h/week)

EuroPATC Ltd. is seeking for a senior .NET Back-End developer for work at the R&D Center in Nis. Under minimal supervision, Back-End developer will be responsible for building "server side" of the web and mobile applications of the Capplo ™ platform. Although the focus of the Back-End developer will primarily be on the internal work of services related to web and mobile applications, Back-End developer will also work hand-in-hand with Front-End and mobile developers during the development of the logic elements on the server side necessary for the functioning of the web and mobile applications. The Back-End developer adds these functionality within the corresponding services in the form of API functions. Candidates should expect to undertake complex projects that require special technical knowledge in software solutions design and testing.

Job description:

  • Back-End Developer is reponsible to deliver data to web and mobile applications safely and securely.
  • Develops professional IT solutions by analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing them by creating new and / or changing and enhancing existing applications.
  • Leads design/coding sessions, develops solutions and implements them as part of a team.
  • Articulates design and resolves technical/design conflicts as they occur.
  • Coordinates with business analysts and users in order to meet their requirements.
  • Develops and improves requirements in collaboration with internal and external sides.
  • Participates in system planning, task scheduling and plan implementation.
  • Performs unit, system and integration testing of software and software modules.

Required skills and experience:

  • At least 4 years of Microsoft .NET development experience.
  • Extensive experience with ASP.NET and Visual Studio 2013+.
  • Extensive experience with databases, particularly with SQL Server and complex data models and stored procedures.
  • Ability to monitor and perform multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Should have experience with software engineering and architectural patterns.
  • Must have experience with the entire software development lifecycle process, best practices and coding standards.

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Developer with experience in “cloud” environment is preferable (Microsoft Azure specifficaly).
  • Good knowledge of the back-end programming language/framework.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Front-End web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (to communicate with team members who work on the Front-End).
  • Ability to manage a hosting environment, including database administration as well as scaling applications to handle load changes.
  • Skill of running "cloud" environments including database administration as well as scaling applications and resources in the "cloud" environment.
  • Bachelor degree in the domain of IT or similar technologies with good knowledge of object-oriented design and data modeling.
